Walk A Mile In My Shoes: The individual stories of a women’s struggle with success mental health.

Walk A Mile In My Shoes: The individual stories of a women’s struggle with success mental health.

Over the weekend we held an amazing event where like-minded women came together and shared their stories on balancing success and mental health. The start of the afternoon was met with wine tasting, following lunch and conversation.

As women, we face unique hurdles in life. However, the more you speak to other women about these unique hurdles, you find out that they aren't that unique at all. Sometimes, they are so similar or common that the random woman standing behind you in the Starbucks line is living a parallel life to yours. In the same breath, we are lucky to have incredible examples of successful and thriving women around us. Still, it can be easy to let that inspiration sit stagnantly; if not managed with the proper mindset, it can work against us. Don't let that happen to you. Let go of your fear; branch out and try something new.

Today, I want us to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Let's be vulnerable together as we share some of our most challenging stories with success and mental health. Success can look different for many of you. Success can be, speaking up for yourself, building healthy boundaries, learning to let go of control, asking for help, or walking in faith and not fear.

Provided below you will find the handout provided at the event with a list of talking points and helpful tips on how to get through life challenges.
